Tina Evolution 2015-2025

“Tina” is an evolving character piece that I’ve revisited and refined over time as my skills have grown. This project represents ongoing improvements in anatomy, proportion, materials, and presentation—reflecting my progress in character modeling, design, and rendering.

My Role

Sole Creator: Responsible for the full character pipeline, from concept refinement to final presentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Concept Refinement: Revisited and improved the character’s original design, updating proportions, silhouette, and style to match my current artistic standards.

  • Modeling & Sculpting: Enhanced the character’s mesh through updated sculpting, improved anatomical accuracy, and cleaner forms.

  • Retopology & UVs: Updated topology and UV layout for cleaner deformation and more efficient texture work.

  • Texturing & Materials: Refined skin, clothing, and accessory materials to improve qauilty, updated texture maps to match the improved sculpt.

  • Rigging & Posing: Used a custom rig to pose Tina for final presentation, adjusting the rig as needed for improved controls and deformation.

  • Lighting & Rendering: Built a new lighting setup and rendered the final piece using modern techniques to better showcase the updated design.

  • Compositing: Polished the final render in Photoshop or After Effects, adding subtle enhancements and presentation effects.

  • Presentation: Created beauty renders and close-ups to highlight improvements made during this redesign phase.
