BAC FXCV3 Product 2025
A high-quality product illustration of the BAC FXCV3 cooling unit. This piece was developed as a personal project to strengthen your Redshift rendering workflow while repurposing and improving upon assets previously created at your workplace.
My Role
Sole Creator: Responsible for all modeling prep, lighting, rendering, camera work, overlays, and post-processing.
Responsibilities
Asset Reuse & Prep: Reused and updated the FXCV3 model from a previous studio project to create a standalone personal illustration.
Lighting & Rendering: Built a complete Redshift lighting setup in 3DS Max and rendered the final product shots, using the project as practice to become more comfortable with Redshift’s material and lighting system.
Camera Placement: Positioned and animated cameras to showcase the FXCV3 unit in a clean, modern product-illustration style.
Overlays & Text: Created and applied text overlays and graphic elements to enhance clarity and presentation value.
Loop Integration: Reused the MP4 loop from earlier BAC server-cooling product work and integrated it into the presentation.
Compositing & Post: Performed all compositing and post-tweak work in After Effects to refine color, contrast, and overall polish.
Personal Development: Used this project to deepen understanding of Redshift rendering, material workflows, and how to replicate some of the qualities typically achieved with Corona Renderer.
