BJ Energy Website Product Showcase 2022

A highly technical product showcase created for BJ, demonstrating equipment layout, operation, and key features in a series of clean, client-ready animation shots. The project required strict accuracy, as all components attached to the manifolds needed to align precisely with the client’s engineering drawings.

My Role:

Responsible for most major production tasks—asset optimization, animation, materials, rendering, and compositing—with final polish handled by the Art Director.

Responsibilites:

Model Optimization: Received client-supplied models and optimized them significantly for rendering, reducing polycount while preserving visual accuracy.
Material Application: Applied all materials and established the visual look in line with BJ’s product presentation style.
Camera Animation: Created smooth camera movements to highlight the equipment layout and operational features.
Product Animation: Animated functional elements such as opening doors, turbine rotations, and other mechanical motions.
2D Elements & Callouts: Designed and animated all text callouts and supporting 2D graphics for clarity and visual communication.
High-Resolution Rendering: Prepared select shots for 8K rendering per client request, managing lighting and render settings for maximum clarity.
Rendering & Compositing: Rendered the full sequence in Corona Renderer and composited the final footage in After Effects with color correction and presentation polish.
Final Review: Art Director performed final cleanup and refinement before delivery.
