Sagerider GeoThermal Loop 2024

A looping 3D illustration created for SageRider to visually communicate the geothermal system flow in a clean, stylized format suitable for GIF export and client-facing presentations. The loop was designed to match the visual style established in previous SageRider projects.

My Role:

Responsible for building the geothermal site layout, animating the looping flowpaths, and producing the final rendered loop.

Responsibilites:

Flowline Looping: Created perfectly seamless flowline animations based on the client’s GIF requirements.
Asset Reuse: Reused and updated assets from a previous SageRider job to build out the new geothermal site efficiently and consistently.
Scene Assembly: Constructed and arranged the geothermal environment using adapted models and layout elements.
Camera Setup: Positioned and animated the render camera to clearly present the entire site and visual flow.
Flowpath Drawing: Drew the geothermal flowpaths and animated them to loop continuously without visible breaks.
Rendering: Rendered the animation in Redshift with settings tuned to match the preview style from older client work.
Compositing & Post: Assembled final passes, applied color correction, and polished the loop in After Effects for clean playback and export.
