Martin Sprocket Bushed vs Finsihed Bore 2023

A two-part product animation comparing Bushed vs. Finished Bore components for Martin Sprocket. The animation showcases workflow differences, product details, and application steps with clean visuals and FX elements. The project required a complete rebuild after an offsite contractor failed to meet expectations, resulting in the full production being reassigned to me.

My Role:

Took full ownership of both animations, rebuilt scenes from scratch, matched the client’s established visual style, and delivered multiple language versions.

Responsibilites:

  • Full Project Rebuild: The animation was reassigned to me after an offsite contractor failed to deliver usable progress. I restarted the entire project from scratch using the original static models we provided.

  • Asset Conversion: Converted the contractor’s Maya-based setup into a clean 3DS Max workflow before beginning production.

  • Dual Animation Creation: Recreated both Bushed and Finished Bore animations entirely inside 3DS Max, ensuring consistency across shared assets.

  • Camera & Lighting: Animated all camera sequences, placed lighting, and matched render quality to Martin Sprocket’s established style.

  • FX Creation: Built all visual effects—including flames, sparks, and solvent spray—to enhance clarity and visual storytelling.

  • Rendering & Compositing: Rendered both animations in Corona Renderer and composited the footage in After Effects with color grading and final polish.

  • Multi-Language Versions: Produced multiple language exports for English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese.

  • Final Review: Implemented final cleanup and adjustments based on Art Director feedback.

Tools:
