An industrial animation demonstrating the bolt-in-shear failure process for Martin Sprocket. This piece was part of a larger series of failure animations created for the Martin Sprocket GEAPS project. The animations were showcased as part of a presentation at an industry expo, designed to clearly communicate mechanical stress and product performance.
My Role:
Collaborating with the Art Director and broader team, I was responsible for:
Camera Animation: Designed movements to clearly showcase product details and mechanical sequences.
Product Animation: Animated components to accurately illustrate the bolt shear process.
FX Simulation: Created the FEA-inspired color effect during the shear sequence to emphasize stress points.
Compositing & Finishing: Combined final renders and applied compositing to match the art style direction set by the Art Director.
